Founded in 2007, PAD London is the UK’s only fair devoted exclusively to historical and contemporary design.

This year it runs from 13 to 18 October, overlapping with Frieze London in Regent’s Park. The fairs offer different ways into the art market: Frieze focuses on contemporary art, while PAD centres on collectible design, craft and jewellery, with galleries also showing paintings and sculpture.

Its more intimate scale makes Berkeley Square another place to discover art during London’s busiest week for collecting.

At its booth, Opera Gallery is showing works by Pablo Picasso, Jean Dubuffet, Alex Katz, Manolo Valdés and Jaume Plensa. A short walk from the fair, the gallery is also presenting Fernando Botero: In Praise of an Amplified World, a survey of works spanning the 1960s to the final years of the Colombian artist’s life. It is Botero’s first solo exhibition in London since 2015.

PIK’D made its PAD debut in 2025 as one of the fair’s first exhibitors from the Middle East. It returns this year with ceramics, sculptural glass and handmade porcelain, including works by Simone Crestani, Irene Cattaneo and Tessa Eastman. The presentation brings experimental techniques into the mix of collectible design.

Amsterdam-based Mia Karlova Galerie works across collectible design and contemporary art. At PAD this year, it presents pieces by designers Vadim Kibardin and Jesse Visser, alongside a first presentation of works by Maria Sipińska. The stand also includes porcelain wall works by Edinburgh-based artist Valeriya Isyak, whose practice crosses painting, sculpture and material research.
