Employees represented by Prospect union at Royal Museums Greenwich have voted to strike over pay and working conditions on 11 and 12 August. The union pledged to increase industrial action across the heritage sector this summer, reports The Art Newspaper, after members also voted to strike at the V&A Storehouse and other V&A locations.

Royal Museums Greenwich staff are calling for London Living Wage accreditation this year, paid breaks for security staff, policies on fixed term contracts and improved training and progression opportunities.
