New Curators Secures £3 Million Funding from the Bukhman Foundation
The organisation runs a free and paid year-long training programme for aspiring curators from structurally disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds

New Curators have announced a £3 million, three-year funding commitment from the Bukhman Foundation.
This is a major gift for the organisation, which runs a free and paid year-long training programme for aspiring curators from structurally disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds. Each year, the programme culminates in an exhibition curated by fellows at a London institution: the third iteration will open in December 2026, and will be a show of work by Kang Seung Lee hosted at the South London Gallery.
The Bukhman Foundation was founded in 2023 by Anastasia and Igor Bukhman, and focuses on two areas: Type 1 Diabetes, through research and clinical progress, and culture, through the support of emerging artists and institutions.
